Financial Coordinator

I have been at Alvarez Ortho since 2001 after a prior career in the financial world. Establishing terms for contracts and maintaining patient accounts to ensure smooth financial processes is my focus. Working with patients to help them obtain in-house interest-free financing or optional alternate financing is one of my favorite parts of the job! I also am thrilled to see patients whose smiles we helped create a long time ago bring their children into the office!

I am married with a grown son. My husband Harold and I enjoy traveling and great food experiences. My extended family has been the greatest gift bestowed to me.

Insurance Coordinator and Receptionist

I've been part of the Alvarez Orthodontics team since 1999 and prior to that, I have many years of additional experience in the dental assisting field. I am at the front desk ready to help you with your insurance information and to assist when you call the office or need an appointment.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is reconnecting with patients who return with their own children. It is a wonderful testament to how our patients feel about the treatment they receive at Alvarez Orthodontics!

Outside of work, family time, Florida's sunshine, and Disney, top my list of joys.

Treatment Coordinator

I am a Treatment Coordinator here at Alvarez Orthodontics, so I have the pleasure to meet new patients and make them feel at ease with the orthodontic process. I've been in the orthodontic field since 2002 and have proudly worked with Alvarez Orthodontics since 2007. Dr. Alvarez is very professional and caring with our patients and staff. We also have an amazing team and it makes it so enjoyable to come to work every day! In my free time, I enjoy the beach with my husband and two children. I also enjoy paddle boarding, riding bikes, photography, and cooking. I look forward to meeting you soon to help you get started with your orthodontic care!

Treatment Coordinator/Marketing Coordinator

I have been working at Alvarez Orthodontics since 2006, drawing upon my background in education and dental assisting. Presenting treatment plans and coordinating community and school events fill most of my days in the office.

Witnessing a patient's smiles transformation and knowing I play a part in their journey is immensely rewarding. The family-like environment and the opportunity to make patients feel at home truly make working at Alvarez Orthodontics special.

I’m married to a wonderful man, and we have four beautiful children and three grandchildren. In my free time, I love playing with my grandchildren and traveling with the family.

I began working at Alvarez Ortho back in 2003. I love what I do in the office and always have! My favorite part of the job is working closely with patients to witness how improving their smile positively impacts their lives.

Outside work, my two beautiful children and American Eskimos keep me busy. I'm all about baseball, soccer, wrestling, beach trips, and creating memorable moments with loved ones.

I have been working with the Alvarez Orthodontics team since 2008. You will find me at the front desk greeting our patients and helping to make their visit a positive and pleasant experience. Our office is a great place to be. It is always filled with the friendly smiling faces of our patients and staff.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending baseball games, working in the garden, or reading a good book.

Receptionist

I have worked in various general and specialty dental offices since 1982. I started working here at Alvarez Orthodontics in 2000 as a clinical assistant. Currently, you'll find me at the front desk, where I answer calls, schedule appointments and manage patient information. With a background in Dental Assisting and a history working with orthodontics and dental care, I'm dedicated to providing patients with the best experience.

I enjoy conversations with patients and witnessing their excitement as they progress through their treatment journey. The office's family-like environment fosters a sense of belonging for both patients and staff, creating a wonderful atmosphere to be a part of.

Beyond work, I enjoy family, long walks, gardening, and the beach.

Sterilization Technician

I have had the pleasure of working at Alvarez Orthodontics since 2016. My roles have included receptionist and, more recently sterilization where I am responsible for helping maintain a hygienic environment and sterilized equipment.

My favorite part of working at Alvarez Orthodontics is our exceptional team. We enjoy our time together – both in and out of work – which helps us create the best environment and care for our patients.

Beyond work, my husband and I share four grown children and a furry companion. We love to spend our weekends riding bikes on local trails and going kayaking.

I have been a clinical assistant at Alvarez Orthodontics since 2011. I love working here and enjoy meeting all the patients. All my coworkers are really great and have become friends of mine.

Outside of work, my hobbies are painting and cooking. My family is a big part of my life. I love spending time with my two children (Zachary and Emma), my husband, and friends.

Clinical Assistant/Marketing Assistant/Graphic Designer

I have worked at Alvarez Ortho since 2012. My numerous responsibilties include helping in the clinic and at the front desk. My degree in graphic design helps me assist with contests and office events to make things more fun for our patients!

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and wonderful dogs. We also try to fit in some fishing any chance we get!

Records Technician/Sterilization Technician & Marketing Assistant

I am one of the newer members here at Alvarez Orthodontics, starting early in 2022. I have the pleasure of meeting new patients and taking their orthodontic records and impressions. I also help in the clinic doing sterilization and have the joy of helping out with all the marketing. My favorite part of my job is seeing where patients begin from their very first appointment all the way through their final one and seeing them happy with their new smile.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, traveling, being at the beach, going hiking or to concerts, and going to the gym.

Clinical Assistant/ Clinical Supervisor

I have been working in the orthodontic field for 6 years and at Alvarez Orthodontics since 2020. I help create beautiful smiles alongside Dr. Alvarez. My favorite part of my job is witnessing the excitement each patient has when they get their braces removed and they see their beautiful new smile!

I'm so grateful for my coworkers and Dr. Alvarez. I love the family dynamic at our office and how well we all work together.

In my personal life, I'm recently engaged to my fiancé Vinny. I enjoy bike rides, going to the gym, and quality time with family and friends.

I have been working as an orthodontic assistant for 17 years, and have been here at Alvarez Orthodontics since the beginning of 2022. I love helping to create beautiful smiles and a better self esteem! I am very grateful to be able to work with such an amazing team!

My husband and I have two boys that keep us very busy. I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, camping, being outdoors and watching the boys play baseball.

Scheduling Coordinator

As the scheduling coordinator, I manage the schedule of two busy offices, ensuring optimal patient experiences. I bring over a decade of dental experience and am proud to call Alvarez Orthodontics home. My favorite part of this role is coordinating appointments that are convenient for our patients and creating a smooth flow within the practice.

During my free time, I enjoy a variety of outdoor activites. Whether it is exploring new hiking trails, kayaking or fishing at the beach. I also enjoy spending time with my dog, horse and family.

Stella, our beloved toy schnauzer, holds a special place in our orthodontic practice. Her main purpose in life is to make people SMILE! With her charming presence, she has the remarkable ability to bring happiness to our team and also to our patients at community events. If you give Stella lots of attention and some treats, she’ll be your friend forever!
